The sale goes live on Black Friday at 8:00 a.m.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve received lots of great questions about next year’s flower subscriptions so I thought it might be helpful to put together a little guide.

Whether you’re a returning subscriber or thinking about joining for the first time, here’s what to expect (and why it’s one of my favorite parts of the growing season).

Without further ado…

What Is a Flower Subscription?

A flower subscription is a recurring service where you receive (or gift!) fresh, locally grown flowers at regular intervals throughout the growing season, either monthly or weekly, depending on your choice.

You pick the subscription type, and I take care of the rest! Each delivery includes freshly harvested, beautifully arranged flowers grown right here in Media, PA. You’ll get a little heads-up before each delivery so you can be ready to welcome your blooms.

The Season

The main subscription season runs May through September.

Tulips usually begin around mid-April (if the weather cooperates!) and dahlias bloom beautifully in September.

Most people sign up before the season begins, but if space allows, I do sometimes accept new members closer to the start.

Delivery Details

Yes, delivery is included with all subscriptions in Delaware, Chester, or Montgomery County.

If you’re away on delivery day, no worries! You can gift your bouquet to a friend or family member, or just let me know in advance and I’ll do my best to accommodate a different delivery day.

Subscription Options

Here’s what’s available for 2026:

Monthly Seasonal Subscription – a medium-sized mixed bouquet

Tulip Subscription – bunches of 10 stems

Dahlia Subscription – bunches of 9–10 stems

A flower subscription also makes a wonderful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or just because.

Customization is limited since I work with what’s in season and thriving, but that’s part of the fun! Each delivery celebrates what’s naturally beautiful that month.

Quality & Care

Your flowers should last around 5–7 days, sometimes longer, with a little love: fresh water daily, a clean vase, and placement away from direct sunlight.

Each monthly arrangement features a mix of flowers and foliage grown right here in my garden. No imports, just fresh, local beauty.

And rest assured, I never use pesticides or harmful chemicals. Everything is grown using sustainable, organic practices that are kind to the soil and pollinators.

Payments & Policies

You can easily pay online through my website. Full payment at signup reserves your spot.

Because space is limited, subscriptions are generally non-refundable, but they can be transferred to someone else if needed. I’m also happy to reschedule deliveries around vacations or special circumstances when possible.

If extreme weather ever affects a harvest, I’ll adjust your delivery schedule or add an extra week later in the season.

Extras & Perks

New for 2026 vases will be available as an optional add-on!

Each subscription delivery typically comes in a reusable jar to keep stems hydrated, but if you’d like to upgrade to a vase, you’ll have that option at checkout.

And because Hand & Flower has grown almost entirely through word of mouth (thank you!), I’m excited to introduce a referral program this year, for returning subscribers:

If a friend or family member signs up and mentions your name at checkout, you’ll both receive a discount on your subscriptions. (Referral discounts are currently limited to one new subscriber per returning subscribers each season.)

Want to get a feel for what the arrangements look like? Follow along on Instagram to see what’s blooming throughout the year.

Subscriptions open Black Friday at 8:00 a.m. in the online shop and spots tend to go fast, so early signups are encouraged!

I hope this helps answer your questions and gives you a sense of what to expect next season. I truly try to make the process as easy and joyful as possible because flowers should be all joy and no stress.

Thank you, as always, for supporting small, local, and seasonal. I can’t wait to share another beautiful year of blooms with you!

Thanks for reading!
